When should I book a newborn session?
The best time for a newborn photo session is typically between 6 and 14 days old. During this period, babies are still quite sleepy and flexible, making it easier to pose them for photos. However, it's important to remember that every baby is different, so it's always worth discussing your specific preferences with your photographer. While it's generally easier to photograph newborns in the first two weeks of life, it's still possible to capture beautiful images after 14 days. However, older babies may be more alert and less likely to sleep for long periods, which can make the session more challenging. Ultimately, the best time for your newborn photo session will depend on your baby's individual needs and preferences. If you have any concerns or questions, don't hesitate to ask your photographer for advice.
How do you plan a session date when due dates aren't for certain?
I'm reserving a block of time: Setting aside specific time slots for newborn sessions is helping me avoid overbooking in a particular period.
